Times

This song just captures me. I hope it catches you too.. just close your eyes and listen to it =)
Tenth Avenue North really knows how to worship God

I know I need You
I need to love You
I love to see You, but it's been so long
I long to feel You
I feel this need for You
And I need to hear You, is that so wrong?

Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh.
Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh.

Now You pull me near You
When we're close, I fear You
Still I'm afraid to tell You, all that I've done
Are You done forgiving?
Oh can You look past my pretending?
Lord, I'm so tired of defending, what I've become
What have I become?

Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh.
Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh.
Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh.
Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh.

I hear You say,
"My love is over. It's underneath.
It's inside. It's in between.
The times you doubt Me, when you can't feel.
The times that you question, 'Is this for real? '
The times you're broken.
The times that you mend.
The times that you hate Me, and the times that you bend.
Well, My love is over, it's underneath.
It's inside, it's in between.
These times you're healing, and when your heart breaks.
The times that you feel like you're falling from grace.
The times you're hurting.
The times that you heal.
The times you go hungry, and are tempted to steal.
The times of confusion, in chaos and pain.
I'm there in your sorrow, under the weight of your shame.
I'm there through your heartache.
I'm there in the storm.
My love I will keep you, by My pow'r alone.
I don't care where you fall, where you have been.
I'll never forsake you, My love never ends.
It never ends."

Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh.
Oh, oh. Oh, oh. Oh, oh.

Consume me
Renew me
then...
Refresh me

Cause we all need saving sometimes

Was in great need of some new songs a few nights ago and decided to check out Jon McLaughlin after a long silence from him. One of my favorite discoveries! hmmm~ Jon McLaughLin is real talented.

Thought of embedding something more raw than the usual recorded ones..

When the cloud in the sky starts to pour
And your life is just a storm you're braving
Don't tell yourself you can't lean on someone else
Cause we all need saving sometimes

Some lean on others. Many need saving.
I lean on God. Who do you lean on?

Feel God
Feel luuuuv~

Under CCTV surveillance

The condo which i am living at currently has been trying to improve much since the change of management. CCTVs has been installed and now they are in the process of making access cards for residence >.< I figure it'll be very much a hassle because residence have to go all the way down and pick their visitors (I think) we'll see how it goes.

Anyways, this is not what this post is about..=P

Now, everytime i enter the lift, at the corner of my eyes, i have a natural tendency to give a quick glance at the black, semi circled, shiny CCTV. Just to make sure it's there and i don't do anything disturbing, silly or embarrassing. Not like I do it before the CCTVs were installed. hehe

Today's lift experience was a tad bit different because instead of just going through the mundane standing and stoning, looking straight ahead at the lift's doors, throwing in some head movements towards the ticking floor counter and waiting for the lift to go *ting!*, God spoke to me! Just to make it clear, it wasn't an audible voice okaaaay.. if it was, the guards at the guard house will have gone into a laughing spree staring into the CCTV monitor looking at me go berserk!

God planted in my thoughts saying He is very similar to the CCTV. He is forever watching and making sure we're safe and sound. Although we do make silly and stupid mistakes in life, I'm very sure God doesn't have a laughing carnival with His angels; instead He embraces the moment and holds us tight in His ever comforting arms.

Moreover, He brought me to the following verse, Proverbs 13:1...

"A wise son heeds his father's instruction,

but a mocker does not listen to rebuke"

It is very clear to me that the word 'son' is referring to me. haha. So, why should I heed my father's instructions? Well, 1st of all, I know that whatever my Heavenly Father instructs me is for my good and all things works out well according to His timing. And of course, I wana be wise ;)

Most of the time, the Bible always use a male's role to depict a situation, how about the girls? The ladies? Well, I guess if God would have continued and advised the females, I think it’ll be
"A wise lady marries the wise son" =D haha.

Moving on, a mocker! They are the ones who ridicule by mimicry of actions and are annoying. haha. I don't blame them because rebuke is harsh and very hard to swallow; I guess they just miss out on being WISE! =) and the blessings of God ofcozzz.

God is amazing! (Believe me, that's an understatement) He knows our every thought, feeling and situation, He speaks when we open our spiritual ears for we are 2/3 spiritual =) (aaahh~ something new for some of you to know huh?) Well, it's very true; we ARE more of a spiritual being than physical.

Now~ who said God can't speak to a hardhead? hehe ;)

Another inspiring song and talented band produced by God...

Leeland - Beautiful God

When the storm is raging all around me
You are the peace that calms
My troubled sea
And the cares of this world
Darken my day
You are the light that shines
And shows me the way

Oh, the beauty of Your majesty
On the cross You showed Your love for me!

Beautiful Lord
Awesome and mighty
I’m captured by this love I see
Beautiful Lord
Tender and holy
Your mercy brings me to my knees
It’s Your mercy that has made me free
Beautiful Lord

When my sin is all that I can see
Your grace remains the shelter that I seek
And when my weakness is all I can give
Your gentle Spirit gives me strength again
And oh, the beauty of Your majesty
On the cross You showed Your love for me

And I am lifted by Your love to sing!
It’s Your mercy that has made me free!

You’re beautiful, my Lord
You’re beautiful, my Lord

I am lifted by Your love to sing!
It's Your mercy that has made me free!
